The Drama Department seeks to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer in Drama, Theatre and Performance (12 months). The deadline for applications has now passed.

Drama seeks to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer in Drama, Theatre and Performance (12 months). We expect this colleague to be able to contribute undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Drama through a variety of modes (e.g. in seminar-based and practice-based contexts). We also expect this colleague to be developing a high-quality research programme in theatre and performance studies that will contribute effectively to the achievement of Drama's research aims. Applications from outstanding candidates working in any area of theatre and performance studies are invited.
The post is full time for a period of 12 months, starting from 1 September 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. Starting salary will be on the Academic and Education Grade 5 scale at £38,197 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
