The English Department seeks to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer in Literary Theory (12 months). The post-holder will undertake the normal teaching, research and administrative duties expected of a Lecturer in English and will be expected to have teaching experience and research interests in any area of contemporary literary theory.
The post is full time, fixed term appointment for 1 year, with an expected start date of 1 September 2014. Starting salary will be £38,579 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
